In June 2008, teams from the insurance industry will come together for the 8th staging of the Lutine Lineslip Regatta. More than twenty teams are expected to participate in the regatta. Companies involved in the insurance industry, be they insurers, brokers, reinsurers or professional advisers, will find participation in the Lutine Lineslip Regatta a valuable way to raise its profile, network within the industry and entertain clients, potential clients and staff. The Lutine Lineslip Regatta has been established since 1999 and is the most prestigious sailing and social event for the insurance community.

The Lutine Lineslip Regatta is a Lloyds Yacht Club Event for the Insurance Industry. 2008 will see the 5th staging of the event under the new alliance between the Lloyd's Yacht Club and Britannia Corporate Events. Britannia Corporate Events is the leading organiser of corporate regattas and one of the leading providers of corporate sailing services and yacht charter in the UK.
